ATTN: Probable Date change for Day of the Drags !!

After reading some of the post on the board about potential conflicts w/ our original weekend in Oct 6 & 7 we scheduled for the DOTD, esp the Goodguys event in DFW (I want to see Bass at Lil River), I have talked to the track and we are seriously considering moving the date back to the Saturday and Sunday (yes two days) October 20-21, 2007. That would give everyone two extra weeks to get ready and it would not conflict w/ the Hunnert Car Pileup. All the Chicago boys could come down AFTER their show.......I know what its like the week BEFORE a show. So no excuses now......NEW DATE is scheduled for SAT and SUN OCTOBER 20 & 21, 2007. Cool w/ everyone? Please chime in if I am forgetting something I should be thinking about.

BARONS Hill Country 100 Reliability Run show is Oct. 13th, so that looks like a busy month for car guys to come out and enjoy.... Hopefully some of the same people we have supported throughout the years will do the same???

 

TWO DAYS....... Something is going to break for sure

I made a shakedown run in the Aquamino to Bastrop last weekend and
passed right by Little River, it was tempting to just pull in and make a few
unsupervised passes, but I was strong.

Hopefully the construction on the 95 will be done by then, looks like another
lane going in.

What weekend has it been historically? I know what the date was originally for this year, but in the past, is this further into Oct?

Just wondering about the weather cause the couple of times we made it, it was rainy. Do you think the new owners would let us camp like the old ones did?

 

Man I know we cant cater to everyone but I hope this date does not interfere with the Circle City Hot Rod's plans of attending, I want to see the Hemi COupe make a pass as well as that Nailheaded Coupe
