I got this car last fall, traded my model A. I wanted to get this nice little kustom "to the next level". There was huge amount of work and modifications done already. Janne Kutja had already spent some 300 hours for top design and chopping work. Air bags, four links, front disks, and frame C-notch have taken hundreds of hours as well. Kartsa Saarela had done the work for -55 Chevrolet headlight rims. Interior is white and gold tuck'n'roll, 350 engine, -54 bumbers etc...

Few last weeks have been quite busy but I finally made it. Spent a lot of money for new paint and glass etc. Body work and paint by Hersti autoshop. Decoration by Platu. Had a good friend helping me for few days and nights. Thanks to my wife who spent long evenings with our two little kids...

Now its time to get some rest, and give some time for the family. This is my first car show with my own car. I'm pretty excited and happy!

It will be a cool show, hope somebody will post some more photos.

    Cheers,

  3. Nice. Looks good.

  4. X2 what Tman said, simple and clean but with a fair amount of fab work. I never knew that there were so many really nice cars in so many other countrys until I joined here. Finland, Sweeden, Australia, Germany, I mean some really top notch stuff and yours is right up there with the really nice ones. Have fun & enjoy many more shows in the future.

Mala from Kopteri mag asked me do we have any bikes for the show,so we took two bikes there at thursday and we picked them up from there at yesterday.

ps. Erik, I got the idea on the trophies form you. They are some old bowling or skiing trophies with nice patina... :) Then I got some copies of old Hot Rod magazine covers. Simple but it works.

That's all for now. It was a good show. I still have plenty of work with the Chevy, but that was one huge milestone. I'm still smiling. Here's the rest of the photos: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y108/Karimix/ACS11/

Thanks for the HAMB family, I put a small HAMB decal on rear window.
