There is a secret mission that has been brewing around the Atlas shop for the last couple of days. I'm not sure how it happened but we just kept talking ourselves into it until we believed we could do it. No we were not drinking at the time.

We will build a 1932 Roadster starting now for the 2012 Revolution on November 3rd..........

    Here is the plan:
    1. Take parts we have sitting around the shop and build a steel '32 Roadster completely finished with interior and paint by November 1st.

    2. Have a roll out party on the night of November 1st at the Atlas shop

    3. Daddy-O and I will then pilot that car from Denison down to Austin for the Revolution.

We are going to build a mid to late 50's styled car. We will post updates daily until its done.
We got a good start as we scored a roller frame from Big Tony built by Rusty Buford of Dirty's Speed Shop. We have a 283 sitting in another car at the shop that we will "borrow" (its Daddy-O's).

    Will we have enough parts?
Will Daddy-O finish in time? (I don't do anything but come up with stupid ideas)
Will Phillip Cato get the interior done in time? He's an Ace I'm sure he will.
Will there be last minute drama where Daddy-O and I get in a fight? That would be a funny sight.

Stay tuned for answers to all this and more.............

Here is where we are starting.

I'm just wondering how this will work.

To get a car in the Revolution you have to send in pictures of the car. It has to be approved before they send out a form to you.

Lots of work finished today mainly disassembling parts and cleaning them for plating. Sent the frame to the blasters should be back in the morning. Sent a truck load to the chrome platers.

I've got a couple shots of the car from stopping by a couple times. Would it bother you guys if I posted them up here to try and appease the crowd?

Well its not the same car exactly. We are combining lots of various parts and stuff. We are using that Brookeville body that you saw that was mocked up on the OG frame.
Lets keep it a surprise....... Insert mad scientist laugh here..... Come by and hang out some more. This could get crazy and Daddyos beard is getting really full so he may lose it in the heat. Entertaining for sure.

Nope- Ryan banned talk of reality shows a while back, if I remember correctly.

I'll be there at the Revolution w/ my camera in hand, awaiting your finished product. So get to work! ;)

Here are the parts that are off to the chrome shop today. Now if we just don't hit any snags on timing in the chrome shop.
