Well...here we go!!
2 shows, 1 post.....
And then Sunday we went to The Stranger's BBQ....
As always it was good seeing you saturday, thanks for sharing the cool pics.
See ya soon.
Nice pics, but I know you have more!!
Likewise Gabe, and Susan FINALLY got her picture...And I have photographic evidence!!
thanks for sharing.
every time I see that flamed '57 Fairlane I get all excited
Great pics as always Dave.Sorry i had to bail on the Strangers show, but at least i got some stuff done to my car.Next time...Midnight Mass?
I like your shots. I suspect you kneel down for a lot of the shots so the car ends up being "in our face", if you will.
What's up with what looks to be a double mirror?
You got it....I'm usually the English guy that people are falling over!!
As for the funky mirror, there have been several explanations on here in the past, from what I recall its some kind of passing mirror...someone will be along in a moment to explain!
I had a guy explain the thinking of those mirrors before, but I just didn't get it. something to do with passing? just an expensive rare and cool accessory now.
cool pics. I should have went to Strangers... I was back from the swap meet by 11:00 but took a 3 hour nap instead. 4 hours sleep did not agree with me...
...as I get older the need to take the low down pictures diminishes. suddenly cars look better at eye level.
well.. that's what my knees are telling me anyway.
Beautiful shots from the new camera.
Thanks to Jay and the Vultures and Scotty and the Strangers. This is why its the BEST place to live if you are into Kustoms and Hot Rods. Nowhere in the world do you have the shows that the Bay Area has. Billetproof and Midnight Mass around the corner who could ask for more.
Dig the garden rake heat shield.
It's good that you appreciate it, but it's not a competition .
Awesome show coverage as usual. Makes me wish I had been able to make either show.
Geez, looks like a great show.
AWSUM PICS DAVE,
Thanks for shooting the grey Plymouth, nice pic
They both were....having them so close together makes a great weekend, and you don't get the same cars at both, theres some crossover from one to the other, but on the whole, I would say there was at least 80% different stuff on Sunday than Saturday.
Thanks to The Vultures & Strangers for another great weekend in the Bay Area.
Thanks a million for posting pics, this was my first year working the BBQ as a Stranger and it is amazing the amount of work it takes to put something like this on. I never got a chance to walk around and see the cars so your shots are a godsend, looks like we had some really cool stuff show up! Good seeing you and Ginger and maybe we can go for a ride sometime once the BSA is fettled.
...would seriously like to compliment you on your quality photography....wow...
A couple from the Strangers BBQ.
A couple from Asphalt:
Here's some of mine. Drove from WA state just for the shows.
And as for the Stranger's BBQ...thanks a lot boys. I personally had an absolutely incredible time!!!
Thee Emperors rule! Thanks for coming all the way down for the shows it was great meeting you guys in the t-shirt booth on Sunday.

As for riding....Hell yes!
