There has been a lot of television shows both past & recent that featured cars to are Hamb approved. Watching Last Man Standing I love the green 1956 Ford pickup that belongs to Tim Allen. Another car was the 1946 Ford used in Home Improvements. HRP How about you guys anything come to mind? HRP
Biggist impact, was "77 Sunset Strip" for me on TV. I had built a number of hotrod models in the early to mid 1950's ,that before seeing Norm's rod,my models had a lot of similarity too what was "Cookie'car",so I thought WOW. When TV show came out. I had started gathering old car parts to build myself a rod in 1957,by 59 I had a running Bobtail 28 A Roadster. That showed a few bits of influence from a lot of Little Books,as well as "77 Sunset Strip" all mixed together. At least I can say,a little as seen on TV !! I drove my 28A to highschool 60/62,n still drive it.
There's all kinds of Fridges on the screen. Of course, I'm not biased or anything. Andy Griffith: Elvis, Fun in Acapulco: The Man From U.N.C.L.E.: And, The Real McCoys:
Another from Home Improvements. Made me want to build me avatar, and damn near cried when it got crushed
Perspective can be difficult, but the depth of the smoosh mark in the bonnet suggests to me it had no engine when it was crushed. Cheers, Harv
Not a "T," but Bobtailed "A" so a little more room, thought the same angle pic my B fun. Was redo work on my homemade 4x2s,so using 4 bbl.
I'm too old and broke to pay for TV so my wife and I watch the evening news on the free, "over the air" TV and follow it up with the Andy Griffith show so I can see those "new" 61 & 62 Fords.
I don't have the pics, but sure you can find them on the net... The Darlings truck on Andy Griffith The Waltons AA truck, heck lots of neat cars and trucks on the entire Waltons series. Bewitched first season new Chevys. May be a year too new? A certain Ford show car turned crime fighter on Batman. Beverly Hillbillies Olds truck and new Chrysler and Imperial products. Sure there's more than comes to mind right now...
