From the pages of Modern Mechanix, February 1933: All it needs is a few iron crosses and rubber skulls. http://blog.modernmechanix.com/2008/02/22/build-a-comedy-ford/
Mine was built about 1957 by two young guys who had seen one in a rodeo driven by clowns the year before. They paid $50 for it and after the build, they sold it to the American Legion for $250. It was in many parades. It is now owned by a friend of mine not far away.
All shits 'n' giggles aside, this guy not only did the project without a goddamn reality show AND found a way to pull in some silver...this THE DEPRESSION,ya know? And who got the last laugh when those Clara Bow looking jazz chickies piled in close to get a ride? Go get 'em Ed! Ace
