Gosh Cadillac Daddyo...and I thought I got up early!!! Happy Holiday Week end. Love the rat fink. Here is my story for today...family heads off to grandmas for turkey day, in their '54 chop top Chevy that has had the b pillers removed, c pillers slanted forward and the rear glass layed down...good cruising car ' cause its been lowered too. You can just hear that 236 six with split manifold racking its pipes...man what a trip. Oh and grandma..she still cooks in a 1930's style oven. Johnny Angel
Hey this getting up early ain't so bad...at least it doesn't take a half hour to upload something on dial up! Here is a sad holiday story, while the turkey was cooking our hero took in a movie, but when he came out he found his '50 Ford and been "customized" for him while he was in watching Thunder Road... or perhaps he wanted his car to look like the one in the movie so he beat up his own car? who knows
Ha! I'm always up early. I gotta work today. Time and a half. Woo-Hoo! Here's few from this week. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
A quickie before I go to the big family dinner. Variation on the old eyeball. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
Quite an intresting variety of art and styles so far ! Here's a red plexi panel with leaf, and another panel I call "a bad case of the runs"
...and here's a "nose art" I've been playing with, about 5 feet X 30", still have to "age" it a little ,then cut out the edges with a torch. It's patterned after a Lancaster with an interesting history for this area.
Here is the World's coolest Pontiac Solstice....which I guess would mean the World's only cool Solstice. Also a rather delinquent lookin pickup Joe
this is a first attempt at stencil art, man this stuff is fun... but tedious! If you got the patience, an exacto knife, spraypaint and a cool subject like fellow road zombies club mate ...Billy's coupe this is the result: It's done on a piece of wood that's 9" x 33", it's has 5 different stencil colors. I'm thinking about doing a kustom on the other end of the wood facing the hotrod, maybe something inbetween them... just a thought. Happy Thanksgiven art guys, for we have much to be thankful for! Blessings, CAB
Cab, that looks insane. That looks very tedious. I think I would take the X-acto to wrist before very long. Here is a quickie Photoshop paint job. Fordor convert with suicides. Joe
I tried something different this week. Went to a shop and bought a shitload of spraypaint and painted the garage wall. The guy who sold me these cans put gloves on while handling them over to me, just as I would be up for something illegal. Can you believe this! What an insult. Illegal? Me! Nooo... Hot rod hell. First thing that popped up in my mind.
Here's a couple of things I worked on this week: A helmet. The original sign The new sign A set of fan blades A plate Another plate Still another plate
I was cleaning the garage and found a printout of an old photochop I did of a '46 Tudor, probably from '97, I originally wanted to paint in Mitsubishi pearl yellow, airbrush outlined flames and Supremes and narrow WW. I was all over the place...
This is all I got. Need to do more stuff. Boy am I stuffed. Came in on the computer for a little moment of peace and quiet. BR
Had to wait to get permission to show this, did it for a fellow HAMBer's lady and didn't want to ruin the surprise. He says it's OK so, one more little black purse...
Ryzart you pannel is bad ass. Heres a new shirt . Not really hot rod related unless your a shriner/ hot rodder
