Yup, The patina is cool but if you see it in person, it is not as cool. The roof and half the car look cool but the hood is in primer, the tailgate looks like someone painted with housepaint and the drivers side does not match the passenger. If it was more uniform, I would certainly keep it as it is. But after fixing the rust and putting on new quarters and fixing above the headlights, it is not going to look good.

Here's a pic of my work in progress. When finished, it'll be running firestone blackwall 5.50-16 & 6.50-16 tires and my offy intake with 3-holley 94s.
Still have a long way to go!

Yea, I agree, and now the weather is getting hot so it's less likely to happen if we wait much longer.

  10. I've met a lot of you at some point or another. I need to get out more events or just hang out. I have plenty of old pics of my ride, but this is the only recent one. We were out at the drags in Surprise with Theopwk and AZwillis.

My 47 has been in the shop so long, I don't remember what it looks like! The guy called and it looks like tomorrow, so I'll post pics soon.

Prescott is kinda in the middle, but I bet the Tucson and Yuma guys don't see it that way! Phoenix would be best with the population centers. Best to do it soon to beat the heat. Mine needs to be road tested and fiddled with before I'd be comfortable driving down the hill and back, but I could always drive the truck down and park a few blocks away!
