Are The Colored Glass Headlights still made???

    Anyone know if the colored glass headlights are still made or repopped? I dig that look on the old drag cars, be kool if someone still made them, love a set of green ones, round 7in. Thanks,

    Why not Spray a Transluscent candy over the originals?

    comes in alot of colors

    If it's a car you drive on the street you can just put colored saran wrap on them. It'll cling until you pull it off (like when you get ready to drive on the street!)

    1) Why did they do this?

    2) i think the regan administration was the last to use this on their limos (the high-beam position red) This was on the latest episode of frontline---the one about polluted water systems.

    That metalcast looks awesome!

    Colored saran wrap is good idea too, pull it off at nite, keep Johnny Law off your butt!LOL!!!

    I know you can get 4" in yellow and blue, Drag specialties carries them. i was running a yellow on my bike. Also like stated above, just spray them. My buddy did one on his streetglide with a tinted clear, worked out perfect. There is a shot of the yellow one I used in my gallery here.

    How much will a thin coat of that Metalcast affect the normal opperation of the headlights?

  16. Can you use metalcast for taillights too??? Translucent candy paint is impossible to find here... no model stores :(

    In the late 60's we would use spay glass tint on them(blue, yellow and smoke were popular)
