I need a steering box for my '51 Ford and I am not sure if a Mercury box will work as well?

    Anybody?

    Thanks......

  2. That would be a No. They are totally different in all ways, mounts, over all length, pitman arm spline, and steering ratio.

I've talked to Chris and he currently has none in stock, and the rebuild charge is $400m so that's a bit pricey for me right now......

Still looking for a good '49-51 *FORD* steering box.......

    Anybody?
