VERY nice collection of hot rods in those pictures - can I pick & keep one????
You are too kind my friend..They are really just XL Roadsters! Haha
I found ya. Took this photo of you leaving TROG , enjoy!
that car was one of VERY few hot rods to be featured in Car Life. I should dig that up and post it here.
I'm curious where you found this picture. I own this car and it is currently for sale. If you would like more info, please contact me. Pete
Couple of buddy's have been hotrodding this old tub
I'll get you some more photos. The axle is a '36 stock drop to it so it's like cheating on an A. I used '32 spindles, '36 brakes and backing plates, '34 drums, and the '36 actuators, model A wishbone, and stock brake rods. It's all Mechanical brakes with a mild drop axle at this point using Ford parts. It took a while to gather all the pieces but I really like the look and I wanted to keep it mechanical. I'm a gadget guy and that's Fords greatest gadget for sure. Tires are 5:00-16 on the front and 7:50-16 rear. Front rims are standard Kelseys while the back are 2" widened Kelseys.
All the best,
I love this tub. Any more pics??
Yes, I have plenty of pictures. The car is for sale. Look for it on page 35 (or so) on the H.A.M.B.
A beautiful tub at the GNRS. I would say it is done very right! TEB
Wow thats nice. The parts list is the best of the best in my opinion.
A few more pictures. The black and whites are previous owners (1957 & early 70s barn-find rescue).
Here is 29 phaeton I would sell if anyone is interested. Would make a Great hotrod!
cut the top off a tudor, in 1972,

"For Gay Blades"
No. Definitely not traditional.
Had to look that one up. Apparently 'gay blades' means 'dashing youth'.
So its nothing to do with male figure skating??
If they show up driving that phaeton, I'll let them do whatever the hell they want!
