Anyone want to start a club for 60s traditional (Bellflower) lows?

We seem to be going back and forth on the "design" to go with the lettering... was anyone digging on that spade with the intricate design inside it that was posted a few pages back?

I thought that was pretty cool... can someone do the LB lettering along with that spade and see what it would look like?

ok,,i was thinking,,WHY not have a car,,well i guess cuz alot of people will want THEIR car on it! hahaha,,well, not me,,but,,,

how about just a shot of a car like from a low down rear 3/4 view, only capturing the quarter panel with custom paint, bellflower tip and tucked astro supreme,.,

now,,i used a pic of my car only cuz i had one handy, the picture could be from a BETTER different angle of a car ... i think it would be cool to have it a pic of a car as described in the paragraph above,so that on the shirt it could be any kinda car at a glance, not necessarily a certain model..

    whada ya think?
edit,,i found this pic,,this is more of what im talking about, but a closer up and taken from a lower view shot

My favorite so far-try putting heavy contrast on the tips so they blend in with the spade and look more 'graphic'.

if it were me id like to see just the script and the spade, with the spade in flake. with maybe some lace designs curing around the lower corners. like mentioned before i cant help but see semi-truck exhaust pipes in those bellflower tips (when not mounted on a car).

if i could do anything with a computer i would, i can only draw on paper

  22. I agree that the spade in flake. I don't think seperating the name is so good. it takes away from the name.

Keep the pipes out they look like stacks for truckers.

We have until friday to come up with some designs and then we vote. whatever it is it is.

Graverobber can you get me a list of names and locations.

spade in flake, pipes OUT... AGREED... *thumbs up*

now the question - what to replace the pipes with, IF anything at all... i like it plain and simple with just a spade in flake with maybe some pinstriping on the borders... i dunno..

  25. keep it simple....the best designs are the ones that are simple. Look at what we started with Hiddens xar designs....they are simple an technically missing detail but your eye fills it in.

I say name over a flake spade....simple and easy nothing else needed. I am a minimalist and i am drawn to that design.

I also like the supreme that was done. simple and easy

too much stuff takes away from the design and will get spendy.

  26. yeah, go with the astro design, with flake.

script on top of the spade with c.c. under the spade, or just L.B. over a flaked spade. I'm in. No more suggestions from me...I will wait to vote.

Shifty, have you got the list of members yet? keep in touch. Also, you should post something again. You post count is muy malo.

  28. Yeah I saw that...that is my second 666.

No I haven't got the list yet, Gracerobber is pretty busy....

I am trying to figure out a way to vote that is not all messed up and doesn't take up ryans space...I may do it on the Myspace group that I set up. it would be the easiest.
