Art & Inspiration ANYONE USING TRIM RINGS ON YOUR WHEELS?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Apr 21, 2021.

  1. I spent a long time finding and polishing trim rings for my bent spoke Kelsey wheels. Put them on, looked at them, took them off, sold them.

I go both ways, put these on my sedan though and they dressed it up just enough... Only 1 is brand new, rest are all old stock....

After I painted the red wheels black and ran with just the caps I decided the rings looked pretty good and put them on again.

I'm with the "Like 'em either way" group. Currently running without... but that could change... IMG_0625.JPG

sometimes if i didn’t have a full set of trim rings i would put two on one side and none on the other. (same with caps.) and i have changed my mind day to day.

    Hello,

One of the most unusual repurposing of an old closed up gas station is, of course, turn it into a speed shop or hot rod repair business. Throw in some daily customers with standard modern cars and an automotive tuning and repair business is now in session. Uncle Joe’s Automotive is one such business. They are a full service repair shop for all modern cars and of course, old hot rods and sedans.

OK, due to the pandemic in 2020 and continuing to today, the business it now closed unless something surprising happens and everything gets back to normal.

But the custom application of painted rims, chrome lug nuts, and beauty trim rings plays a highlighted part of an old hot rod.
