The linkage on my 62 Impala is trash. 283/Powerglide. Lokar makes a cable for this. Anyone ever installed one? Is it pretty simple to install? It looks fairly easy, but its always good to hear about it from someone whos been there, done that.
    Thanks,

  2. I've installed many Lokar kickdowns at work. They work great. A little flashy in a trad ride, but, form AFTER function eh? You'll have to use the SRK4000 bracket as well, to mount the kickdown at the carb.

Thanks, I figured that there would be some additional expense.

I just checked the SRK4000 bracket. I have a 2 barrel. It looks like this bracket is for a 4 barrel. Do i have to run the throttle cable as well? This could get pricey. Cant find a complete stock kickdown linkage. Too stupid/lazy to make my own.Life sux,
