If ths was closer I'd be all over it. Always liked AD series cabovers, ugly as shit but sorta cute. Throw in a wrecker bed and it's perfect.

  12. I suspect it's more a restoration or a survivor than a hot rod but, I snapped this during the 10 minutes it didn't rain at the Nats South. I thought it was pretty neat. I don't know why I didn't get a pic of the business end.

A GM engine, tranny and rear end, plus a camaro front? Why even use a Dodge if your going to put all that GM stuff in it. Not to mention the wrecker boom is fake, so what's the point of making it a tow truck. Seems like a waste of a good Dodge.

Love the last couple of pics of the Ford tow truck, just not too sure about those douchebag kids leaning up against the hood though.

No insert needed... Im not saying they were bad... They dress and act as they do for the SHOCK factor.... and being labled a douchbag by certain people would not and should not get a rise or any Ill emotion.... as I said needed to pull the pants down to the knees to be the rest of the part. and probably would have been taken as a compliment from said party. I cant type for shit and if it is taken wrongly sorry:)

Back on topic the truck rocks though

  20. Shock factor for you is a sideways hat and saggy shorts??How where they acting???? So they should conform and not be an individual? You sound like the typical internet prick...but I wouldn't want to stereotype...;)

this is my flatbed 42' dodge 2-1/2 ton. It has a 4 speed truck tranny, and a 239 flathead 6.

I haul stuff all the time on it. Its an old work truck, and i still use it for what it was made for

All right, this thread with the guys bitching about the younger guys need to shut the fuck up. You seem to forget say the 50s or early 60s when you guys were "greasers" with your white tshirts and cigs rolled up in your sleeve, or hey, what about the 60s and 70s, when afros were popular and you were a "hippie" Who gives a shit, theyre all hotrodders, this isnt fucking the Cosmo forum, this is about hotrods, and have some respect for the guy come on. And yes...i happen to be one of those "douchebags" too with my loose pants and my sideways hat, yeah well guess what i dont have a honda.
