a good friend of mine purchased this old Gasser. he wants to have a combination street car-race car like the early gassers were. our goal is to make it drive and stop safely, but not change the integrity of its past life. it has a narrowed Econoline front axle with some very scary steering . a early Pontiac rear axle the pictures show the old water slide details from a dragstrip in New York. while cleaning out the car some time slips from a Calif. drag strip were found. I will post pictures as we do changes we feel needed. he plans to run it at the George ray race in may. Any info would be appreciated
