I pulled the flathead out of the 34 sedan this fall. I am installing a 283 with all the kool goodies but I want to run the ford generator and regulator....

Use a later model Y block generator, it has the mounting ears just like a chevy.

If it has already been converted to 12V, I guess it would work but it would be less of a hassle to get a cheap GM generator and regulator. If your generator is a 34, bracketry will be a PITA

  5. The wiring doesn't change if you convert to a GM genny and reg. It is no big deal to run the GM genny and it will be about a bolt in.
