I'm sort of a scorched-earth kinda guy myself. Once ebay boots his ass off, I'd hire a lawyer to work on commission to go after him and make his life hell.

Heck, I'd split it 50/50 and give him all the info you can, and whatever comes of it, comes of it.

I'd also post his name and info on every enthusiast website there is.

  2. I thought the guy was on his own website, not on eBay.

It's pretty easy to change pics on a website, so I would get evidence of that while it is still there.

Sounds great but you'll never find an attorney to take this on a contingency basis. Unless you believe AND can prove this thief profited greatly from stealing from you you'll be on an hourly rate plus expenses with any competent lawyer unfortunately.
Not really fair but take satisfaction in shutting this piece of trash down and leave it at that unless you have $$$$ to burn just to teach this tool a lesson. And there's nothing wrong with that either. Best of luck.

You can search the net for that exact picture. Goto Google.com and click pictures at the top and upload the picture you want to search. I did yours and got numerous hits. Good luck. -kid

You can still get screenshots of him using your info. First download some screenshot software (google for a free trial) and then paste his website address here with an earlier date when you know he had your pics there :

    http://archive.org/web/web.php

This is the Wayback Machine and it worked for me.

So I sent him a Cease and Desist Notice and he changed up his website from selling my plans to linking his page to mine so he's no longer selling. He actually replied to me saying he was trying to help me sell!?! He's still got my pics up. I'm thinking that's probably temporary and he's hoping I'll forget about him. I'll be contacting his web host next.

I was wrong about the white Model A coupe. That's not his either. He lied about that too. I appologize to the actual owner.

I see this guy is also using one of Cornfield Customs photos claiming it as his own.

I am not an attorney nor am I an expert on copyright, but you might want to check how long a copyright is vaild for? I think a patent is 7 years. If a copyright is 7 years also you would only have a year left on it anyway. Sometimes it cost more to persue the issue than you will get back in return.

Let's hope that you aren't wrong about anything else concerning this fellow. He may be guilty as hell, but only hearing one side of a story is one of the reasons we now use juries in this country to pass judgement.

It's either 28 years, or (essentially) forever -- depends when filed....

So he was helping you out by selling your frame design and pocketing the money? What a douche.

Google maps shows a nice residential neighborhood with a fenced patio, and pastes "luv-n-tender daycare" at that address.

For some reason "luv-n-tender's" (copyrighted) website homepage is dedicated 80% to injury attorney stuff.

Looks like he's got a nice place. Must be doing well selling your frame plans! ;) Glad you're shutting him down! These dirtbags need to get their wings clipped!
