Nothing on their site or in the catalog that I can find. Might be worth a phone call though. Anyone else?
Hmmm, I clicked on Model A/B then on Engine Parts: Heads and got head studs. You're better at this than I am.
BTW thanks THC. Now how about this... does anyone know where to get one in So Cal? Sac Vin Ford will be option b.
The sac vintage ford online catalog SUCKS! Call them and get a catalog so you dont even have to turn your computer on. They have several hi-po heads in their model A catalog.
I'm looking at an ad on the back of the flier for the Antique Nationals; which shows the Winfield head from Specialty Ford Parts in Rosemead. Call Jim at 626-280-4546.
Call Jim, he made a batch of them last year, and he should be at the Antique Nationals in Irwindale this coming Sunday June 3rd as well.
Yes it does, even the people that work there readily admit it. When you call ask to speak with Steve if possible............he's only there part time so its a crapshoot weather you'll be able to get him on the line or not. Some of the guys there arent Model A specialists and arent as helpful as others.
I spoke with Jim directly and he has a pile of rough castings sitting on the floor, but he can't find a machinist that is will to do them for a reasonable amount. If anyone has some spare time and the equipment you might call him to see what he's wanting to pay. And if anyone knows where I can find one of these damn things let me know. I don't care if its used as long as its in good shape.
What is all involved in the machining of these heads? My wife's dads shop is set up with CBC mills and lathes plus other mills that are not Cnc but will work on their own. I know they have been slow.
