    Anyone know where to buy new 50 Mercury brake drums?

    thanks for your suggestion brother, but nope, nor does: Speedway, Mac's, Shoebox or Summit Racing.

    Seems like I was told eons ago that some F100 drums are the same as Merc. Don't buy 'em on my suggestion, but does anybody know for sure?

    It uses the same brake shoe as a 48-52 F1 & 53-66 F100. Do you have a drum to compare it to? If the bolt pattern and the overall depth of the drum was the same as one of the two (F1 or F100) it should work.

    You might try Concours Part for the brake drums they list drums for '49 thru '59. I've gotten parts from them and they seem to know what they are talking about and have always been happy with their parts. Call them and ask 800-722-0009. They are in Carson City, Nv and shipping seems a little slow to the midwest. Good Luck
