Hot Rods Anyone know what ever happened to the banger FED?

I visited the owner, one Ted Chamness over east of Dallas about 12-15 years back. He was mid 80s then and looking for a driver. B model engine with Joe Gemsa head, Kong Jackson drive and lots of other neat bits, ran 10.90s at some nostalgia drags. Ted would be around 100 now, probably not amongst us and I just got to wondering if the car has ever surfaced. He had another spare Gemsa head engine and had bought that head from Joe who had it under his bed with a couple B model OHC heads he built. any history or storys on the car would be appreciated. thanks

 

I think he had last ran it over in Missouri somewhere at nostalgia drags, maybe someone remembers seeing it run?
