Think i have seen the car somewhere in Scandinavia. Probably in Sweden or Finland. It´s a smooth ride.
its on ebay right now . . . . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buic...oryZ6143QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem wish i had the $ that buick is beautiful
Thanks. Actually I had no idea it was on ebay. Purely coincidental. I seen the pic on Carnut and copied it a few weeks ago. I'm not interested in buying it, just had some questions about some things done to it. Thanks again.
You could always contact the seller thru ebay to ask questions. I suspect with a starting bid of 50 large, it might be there for a while.l
actually i just thought i would help him out just in case he hadnt seen the auction, as it turns out he hadn't. next time i will consult my local branch of the hamb police to make sure that my post is legal and in the correct format . . .
MCQUEEN...Yep,that's my friend Kartsa 's car....he's from Helsinky ,Finland... you must see it live to really appreciate the tricky details... is called Sledanette you can PM him here in Hamb,he's a member : KARTSA not in ebay anymore, not sold.. he's asking 38.000 Euros....he worked for years on this one great talented builder...
Thanks.... when I seen the bare metal pic of it on ebay I remebered it from here. Just didn't recognize it painted. Crazy that I just asked about it after all this time and it happened to be on ebay. Actually a few questions I had were answered by the auction description, so thanks for that link I'll PM him asap. Thanks again.
I hear ya! Where are these prices coming from!! I hate to say it but our"hobby" is going out of control price-wise!! even parts are out of control... STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!! A guy near me has been trying to sell a T-bucket for $16500 for 3 or 4 years now!!Too much for a car ya gotta climb into JimV
wow, who ever built that car really knew what they were intending to do, most of the smaller details were touched on throughly
Come on man,, any idea how many friggen hours are into building that? That is one of the better customs built in recent times - Built by a true craftsman. If you bought a stock orig. of that same model and took it to a -quality- builder who is capable of that same level of work, it would cost more than that to replicate. Fuck - a new Toyota truck is like $45,000+ anymore and you'd be luck to resale it 5 years later for $7,000 - now THAT's insane!
I just saw this thread.Yes,the car is mine and it was in ebay. Not sold.I don't know what is the right price for the car.I have invested over 40000$ to it and countles hours of work.Best offer was 35000$,it was from Germany.I think it is very hard to sell it to USA,because of the distance and low value of US dollar. My main goal was to sell it to the Europe.
Kartsa is the man! I have a folder full of your pics on my computer, your detailed step by step photos of four door to two door conversions and top chops have been a huge influence on me. If I had 50 g's I would buy that car in a second. Truly talented individual.
