Does anyone know anything about who might have built this truck or who the current owner might be? I think it sold out of Gateway Classics in St. Louis a couple of months ago. Any info is appreciated. Thanks, Don..........Forgot to mention that it has a Buick Nailhead.
I just looked at their Philly location inventory to see if it was sent there for the heck of it ,no luck. Looking at their listings their not real bashful on the prices are they.
........Yeah, their prices, I assume, are set by the owner who consigns a vehicle with them and most seem to be shooting for the stars. This particular truck was sensibly priced, in my opinion. Really wish I knew more about who built it and where it went. I really liked the truck a bunch.
That is a bad ass truck one of us should have picked it up.. Maybe you can call or email gateway and find some info...
First opened the thread I thought it was this one. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-european-deuce-thread.970652/page-35
Do you follow the Euro Deuce thread Don? For those that don't know it, that truck was built from a European 32 Ford four door. Note the doors, very cool truck, a one-off.
...........................I don't follow that thread, but I did notice the different shape to the back of the cab. Remarkable skills involved to make that all work so well.
..............................So, they're not happy with just a set commission on a price the seller agrees to, they want to up the price to get as much as they possibly can. I guess that's capitalism.
