    troublemaker....:D
I vote for Kellys....prefer the one in The Meadows....but could do the one on the Northside.

  10. I wouldn't mind inner loop or Heights area that kind of keeps it centralized but will probably show up no matter what. I'm good with the 9th. If somebody is familair with Washington Ave, is there anything that jumps out as a good location? I still like the Spanish Flowers idea, it's on Main just off of 45 North. Has anyone ever been to the Brakfast Klub on Travis at West Alabama? If we keep throwing things out something might stick...

The Breakfast Klub sounds great. I haven't been, but I've heard a lot about it. Supposed to be awesome. In fact, it's been reviewed on the news a few times.

It would be central to just about everyone. Just tossing.

I read the reviews on the spanish flower, most good, a couple bad, cant please all people. They do have outside seating, if weather is nice and not freezing cold (thinking about you frostyfred). This is the place I vote for Sat Morning.

I'm going by the Breakfast Klub saturday to scope out the parking situation. I'll try and go by Spanish Flower as well.

  22. I am in, I like to drive so as long as the food is good and reasonable.

I went by and they do have parking across the street. But there's a reason. The place was PACKED. The line was out the door and making it's way around the corner.

Now, they had some signs up like they were doing a benefit for kids, so I parked and walked up to ask what the deal was. Where I parked, if I were inside, there would be no chance of keeping an eye on our rides and some of the "charecters" wandering around didn't ease the tension. I talked to a guy who said, "Even without the benefit going on, a saturday or sunday morning is PACKED." His words, not mine. So, I'm thinking this place is out.

I didn't make it to Spanish Flower. But I did swing through Memorial park. It was great. Nice and quite with a slight breeze. This was around 11:30am. I stayed until 12noon. Then I cruised down 610 and caught Westheimer into town. Then, I shot to Pearland and stopped for some gas.

So, with a week till the 9th, I'm ready to say the heck with it and just hit a Dennys. Or we could make this a lunch thing and keep tossing out suggestions.

So, did anyone else find a cool place?

Kelly's at Suicide Circle still gets my vote... inside the loop on 45 toward the southern end. Park Place and 45; easy off, easy on...

I looked at Kelly's menu again and I'm leaning that way too. Looks like good, home style cookin'. It may be a little far for the guys on the north side, but I'm sure they can handle it.
