Found this one this weekend in a yard in NH. Looks like it had a nasty roll over.

I got the outer windshield stainless trim off this one. The 2nd pic is actually a Lincoln.

Here's a couple I found... A 49 piled up with several other cars... it's a green 2 door. (Still there)

A 1951 I come across several years back (has since been scrapped)

I removed the instrument cluster from it probably 5 years ago and sold it as well as the tail lights. There are still some parts left that I'm sure someone could use. I think the back glass is in it and I know the grille is still there, but it's rough and half buried in the dirt. I think it had some decent metal on the back also.

This one sat in the pasture since 1963 and we "picked" it up in 2006.
    Totally rust free too.

This last Summer, I found a stash of old cars just in time before the crusher guy was hired to clear the estate. Couple friends and I were able to save a small handful (avatar is one I got), but unfortunately this woody wagon Merc wasn't one of them. Young guy hired to drop trees to make it so they could be extracted simply dropped them right onto the roofs of everything, including this one. :( (not sure why clicking on the pic turns it 90 degrees)

  25. I wonder if that lost Mercury, the one that was stolen, was it the Betancourt one, had rounded hood corners or not. I had the quad conversion no?

No need to look at the hood corners, that one has no fadeways... plus it's a 51 ;)
