Just like the title says... I'm doing some research on chopped '41s and I stumbled on this photo and haven't seen the car before. It looks like a WAY heavy chop...maybe too heavy for the car...but hard to tell without seeing more of the profile. I can't even tell if this is a coupe or a sedan from this photo. Anyone know the car or have more photos?
There a lot of photos of that car floating around and I think at least one magazine article. One thread here with a few in it http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=434567 Looks like you posted on that thread though.
No, those are different cars. I think you're thinking of Ron Gomez's Buick (purple one - now green - with the filled quarter windows). This one has a heavier chop, tunneled headlights, different bumpers, etc. I saw the link to the "bydvs" site and that could be it, but there are not finished shots of the car on that site.
Figured I'd give it one more shot for the night shift...really curious to see a profile of this mystery Buick...
Nope, that isn't my Buick ( bydvs ) There was a 44S that came to Japan, about a 5" chop with no B pillars but that still had the head light rings...
