Ford never made around a 33 1/2" transverse leaf front spring did they??
I don't know if they did, but I recently puchased one from Posie's.
Arent posies springs teflon buttoned, not really an option on my car, thanks anyway!
Yep, they are. Just out of curiousity, why isn't that an option?
Too modern looking, might as well use a crate 350 too
why not have a custom main leaf made? There is a old timer in Ballard, Craig Auto Spring. He should be able to get you sorted.
Yea i heard of them last night, still a little far away to go on a work day, i was hoping to come up with something more local, i already dug through my shop and was only able to come up with a 28 essex spring for top leaves
yeah, that's a bit of a drive for you. If I can help out in delivery, let me know.
POSIES does offer the Rolled and Tapered 33 1/2" Spring # 1009RT
Looks like an original spring. They have a "hidden" button under the leaves which you can remove or leave in.
Ohh, well that changes everything....
Ths is the spring for use over the axle when using a 37-41 axle in an earlier car?
Yup, any chance i can buy just a bottom leaf??
I can save you a quarter. I needed a spring several months ago and called Posies. They will not sell main leaves.
