Does anyone have a copy of Street Rod Builder magazine from feb 2003? There was an article about stopping gas spill from your Early Ford filler neck. If someone could photograph or scan this article for me that would be great. Thanks.
I tried to follow along with the posting..... did it say that he used some sort of stick-em to keep the modified cap in place? JB Weld maybe? Thanks for the info........
Looks like an interference fit to me-see pic#3-They removed the rubber o-ring so that the cap would still allow air to pass(vent) JB weld is going to keep it from venting. The stock neck is tapered-the threads on the new cap keep it in place by the looks of it.
