a lot of great studebakers here!!! great thread!
mine, then and now
Found this Stude truck behind an abandoned shop in North Central Kansas, yesterday. (Haddam, Kansas...) Sure looks good and appears to still have the glass intact... Might be a neat project for someone to restore someday... Have a good day... duane (NM Sandrail)
Taken at York US 30 in the early 60's.
Here's my retired "39" stock car body keeping cool in the snow, this past winter !
Heres mine sold the last one 9 years ago and finally got one back again. Not making the mistake of selling it ever again. Anyone up for trading their Studebaker car for a 60-69 unsure exact year Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.
Wouldn't say mine's cool but here it is.............. (Photo by "Breeder")
love 'em all, really like the tucks. that 40 commander is outstanding!
Here is my Stude. Just beginning the journey.

The hawk was king, if it had a 289 even better. At shows they look so different then other cars. way cool. here's mine 61 Hawk
any more pics of this one? i'm building one kind of like it.
Just saw this in HRD ,Very Cool.
My buddy had a '39 Champion gasser
We are trying to track it down.
Is this truck a factory built or did someone just do a real awesome job?
Nicely done one off custom....
Still working on 'The Black Car'....Painfully slow due to work travel
It needs a real drag racer name.....
Bought a NASCAR COT rear wing from 2nd Chance Race parts in Mooresville, NC. http://2ndchanceraceparts.com/
It was on Tony Stewarts car when he was with JGB.
Teams are selling them off since the rear wing has been banned...
Carbon fiber.... 4 pounds
Then I found some end plate extensions over at Roush/Yates used parts warehouse (three blocks away)...
Anyways.... Like the wing with the new side plate/ends. Have propped it up to get the position right...
Going to build the mount plate tabs right to the steel rear bumper (reinforced on the backside)
Want to be able to open the trunk lid without hitting, or messing with the rear wing...
here, mine its a bone stock 49 studebaker starlite coupe
my 53 coupe... always a work in progress
Here is my ex-D/G 42 Champ.I have owned it for 25 years or so...
my 41 m5, choped channeled pancaked sectioned.ect
Here is a very cool Stude if I do say so myself.
Original interior and exterior 1952 that was built as a camper. Delivered to camper builder in Toole, Utah in 1951 and the completed camper was delivered to the Fresno Stude dealer. Has 32,000 on the clock.
Not mine, but it is the one that focused my Studebaker crave on the 59/60 Lark. I'd add trim rings and a set of lake pipes.
I have had mine for about 20 years. going through a make over now
Latest pic. on Puter...
