Just pulled my 38 President business coupe out of it's resting spot after about 30 years, Fat Man front end, future 392 Hemi, A-518 OD, 8 3/4 Mopar rear. Sorry for the fuzzy picture! Also have a 49 (not 48!) Fire engine and a 69 Avanti 2.
Drug this home a while back. 1929 Dictator
We had Studebakers when I was a kid. They were really different, cool looking cars. My favorite was a 50 Commander. Every time I smell gas on my hands it remibnds me of using my 7 year old hand to choke the carb as my dad would try to crank the engine over. It woukld eventually fire up, after some swearing, of course.
My wife's '55 half ton. Basically a stocker, but with a full flow 289 "cloverleaf" block and a T-85. Daily driver.
And my '56 Champion hot rod--on the home stretch now:
heres attastude's (my grandpa) 52 stude soon to be gasser me and him are building
My 2R has a 467 cid Poncho with go fast parts , turbo 400 , Ford 9" . Also has a Poncho front clip . My daily driver
52' champion, on avatar....wish I had a stude truck too...Dad had a buick powered 50' stude pickup when I was a teen. it held the record in it's class at the local dragstrip.
I don't own it any more but I wish I did. 1935 3 window with suicide doors damn I should of kept it. Was an old drag car but real solid ...ghost
Here's a 1929 studebaker dictator 4 door, like the one posted above, but now it's 'tator!
