Technical Anyone ever used mass loaded vinyl under the carpet?

I ordered a 4'x10' of the loaded vinyl and I bought 6 yards of 1/2" synthetic jute carpet pad. I will test it out and report back if it is worth it. Silence is expensive.

I use the Stinger Roadkill Carpet Pad RKCP12. 12sqft of vinyl bonded to foam. Cut to fit and relief cut to deal with trans tunnels etc. Some people use adhesive to bond the seams. No adhesive needed to install. Works great. It is available much cheaper than the price on their site.
