I use to collect arcade games, pinball machines, and juke boxes. At one time I had right at 200. Down to 6 or 7 games/pinball machines and 1 juke box now.
I've got an old Seeburg Golden Jet that I need to have repaired. Have alot of good songs for it though.
Got a 1950 Seeburg Select-O-Matic M100B..... http://home.pacbell.net/fmillera/silver_age_jukes.htm#M100B
just got a 66 rock-ola,,,,,,,,,same one that is in the movie casino in the bar,,,,,,,,,,,really wanted something from the 50s, but it plays perfect and is as clean as any unrestored one you will find....
Always wanted one of the Wurlitzer jukes with the rounded dome and the colored lights running up the sides and over the top to the other side. Last one I remember seeing in use was about 1962. I saw one years ago for sale for about $2500. Way to rich for my wallet at that time, and now they go for over $8,000.
i used to have a '58 wurlitzer but sold it to "scarrylarry" wait till you get a load of his shit, im sure he'll post on here
Ha sorry, I just thinks its funny I give my buddy a rash of shit cause he loves building juke boxs and arcades, restoring them and pinball machines... anyways doing what buddies do best you know. But hey his name on here is Draginit1290 good guy. Hes the upholstrey / techno geek of the group. I know he built a couple juke boxs, and restored some also, built something called a Mame?? In a arcade. Here is his link ffor that space. www.myspace.com\twelveninedy
I'd love to have one but it's either getting one or workin on the car, dangit. Buddy of mine has a 55 and 57 Rowe/AMI. He got the 57 for 75 bucks and the 55 for 300 at an auction. They both work pretty good. later shawn
I've got a '65 Seeburg and a Rockola that looks a lot like the 442 that's posted. I also have a "Star Explorer" pinball machine. Fun stuff.
I'm still tryin to buyin a Filben Maestro 46 to 48 ...nicknamed "Cobra" sorry,i don't have any pics at hand but please somebody more handy than me should post a pic of it.... is amazing, has a grill that reminds a Cobra head...rare and beautiful...also expensive nowadays.
I have a 1938 Wurlitzer 616-B that I spent a few months restoring back in the late 1980's. It still works fine--filled with bebop mostly--lots of Charlie Parker, Art Pepper, Teddy Edwards, Dod Marmarmosa, etc. Dont have a pic handy, but it's similar to this 616A except that it has light-up colored lucite rods in place of the wooden grill. I have been told there are less than ten left of the 200 or so built.
