Looks like its out of an E type.
I have a 1950 with alot of work completed including the wood, Fatman Front and alot of new parts. I would(WOOD) consider trading it for a running and driving 1939-40 Ford Coupe. I'd prefer a Flatty drivetrain but would consider any offers. Take a look at a few photos and let me know if any interest is out there and I'll send you full details. Thanks
Here's our 32 chevy built in late 07 sporting new wheels
Here's some pic's of my personal 50 merc. Not even close to be finished but some day it will.
I love the Tfee lowboy with the Jag. I assume thats an early 3.8 or 4.2 with early cam covers. Both excellent powerplants and cheap too acquire especially with the Moss box. Expensive to rebuild. What a concept! I love it.
we'll my 40 wagon is more or less "done" for now..
and although I was (am) hoping to do a 35 or 36 wagon next....
I should really just finish my olds woodie
or sell it.
see above for one fast SOB
woody Pictures just added to my album.lots more coming soon.
I can't say I'm "building" it since I've had it in this condition since the mid-80's, but here's mine:
Here's a pic of a buddy's '40 woody that he bought for $250 in the early 70's. He's been working it since then and this pic was taken a few weeks ago at it's first outing under it's own power (on and off the trailer.....no exhaust or lights, yet).
This is the way I made my woody body look old.I found some bug eaten, but solid pine.Had it dipped to kill any bugs. Then let dry a few months, plane to thickness and there you have it.An old bug eaten body to match my old cowl, fenders, frame, etc, etc,.This will be a top quality body, splined joints, epoxy glue, etc, etc. It will just look beat up.
I know buying maple ready to go would have been cheaper and easier,(I did that last time) but it would not have give me the look I want.Check out my photo album for all the construction pictures.
I just installed the car`s top.thanks
gonna be doing a 36 ford woodie next!
"Country club kit" for my 47 Chevy.
I hacked up a 4 door Lincoln Zephyr.......
I'm gathering for a '49 Shoebox Ford Woodie myself.
Recently sold my 52'
I really like that. Can we see some more photos of the car? Is that representative of a model that Ford made and sold? Or your own creation? Either way, I like it!!
