Anybody remember what issue of R&C had a yellow 50 Olds Business Coupe???

Does anybody remember what issue of R&C a yellow 49 or 50 Olds business coupe?

I think it was running mechanical fuel injection…kind of gasser style stance I think…..I think it was in R&C early to mid 90’s. Thanks.

I have been digging through my old issues and just can’t find the dang thing. I have been trying to find it for months....Maybe I am nuts....

 

Don't remember the issue but I remember the car.He is from Massachusetts or Maine and it had a Moon tank mounted in the grille.Think it had a Hilborn injected Olds if I recall.Remember meeting him on I-90 once just outside of Cleveland.Him and a few friends were headed for the Street Rod Nationals.Sounded like he had 4:11's in it.I'll call a friend and get his name.

 

wasn't he on the HAMB a few years ago?

 

Didn't get the name but he is from Massachusetts.

 

Thanks for the help.....It has been killing me for months....I am pretty sure it was R&C (early 90's) and the hilborn injected olds is right.....hope you are able to find something....

 

The Olds is still around. Shows up a various gigs now and then.
He is tied in with the Thunder Road Speed Shop.

The shop is right near me.I haven't seen it out side in a while but i doubt he'd sell it.every time I've seen the car i'ts sitting ,I'd love toe hear it really run!
