The only thing that stops me from diving in is the whole "burn ur house down" thing. Before this car I hadn"t done anything so and I've really enjoyed being able to say that I along with my GREAT friends have learned so much. Anyone in for coming down this weekend and giving ur a hand? I got the beer, bbq, beer, and maybe a free show from my band! Thanks, Sam

Buy a kit and do it yourself. It's very rewarding. I found the American Autowire and Ron Francis kits to be very well done. Get a good set of ratcheting crimpers and take your time. My first car took about 20 hours. My second I did in about 10.

    Good luck.

I don't doubt one bit that Scotty kicks ass at wiring but the fact is that I can't afford $1200. I still plan on going by there and seeing his work so that just in case I have to I know what his work looks like. Sam

SO I have been plugging along on this...

Three things... Some people should have to have a license to buy wire, butt connectors and well anything wire related. How hard is it to follow very specific easy to follow directions. And... How hard is it to avoid pinch zones. Column wiring going in the break pedal pinch zone and under hood in the A arm area...

Unfortunately I can only make a bad situation better. Not perfect/ ideal but safe, organized and functional.

for 1200 bucks does that include my flight and motel for the day to do it? lol man i would still make profit!... Take your time. zip ties and lay it out on yhour drive way,zip tie it somewhat of where everything will be then bolt fuse box up and take the time to solder and heat shrink your ends you will gain experience and have fun.. I bought the ez wire kit easy as reading and laying it in. then you can loom it or route for final spot.. If you can bolt in a starter and alternator you can do a harness...especially a labeled harness
