I installed my new steering wheel in the Merc, very happy with it, but I think it needs something extra. I was thinking the very least, a chrome bullet center cap and maybe like or similar to a 54 Chevrolet horn ring (does not have to be functional). A Mercuryman emblem would also make a cool horn button. If you guys have pics of your mod'ed Forty steering wheel, let's see them......
Wow this is embarrasing, anyway I think something like this would make a cool horn button, it's a wheel center cap off a Cougar, but IDK the dimensions , needs to be approx 2 1/2 inches
Here's what I'm doing. I bought a wheel hub cover for a Cougar, fits in perfect, I've got to get gas for the welder, before I can finish.
