I spotted an early Cadillac behind a friends shop and stopped to look at it and the first thing I noticed was a vinyl top with a small oval rear window. Then I noticed the rear fender badges said Chateau DeVille and on the trunk lid was an Apollo badge. Anybody heard of such a thing?

    Limo?

Small oval window and thick padded top were Cadillac special order items for Series 75 formal limousines. Up to 63 they were done by Derham Body Co in Philadelphia, 64 and up done by Cadillac. I have a pic of a 63 but no scanner at the moment.

(info from "80 years of Cadillac La Salle" by Walter M.P.McCall).

    Don't know about the badges.

That does kinda sound like it, but I forgot to mention that it is a 2 door coupe, so I was expecting the badges to be Coupe DeVille but noticed something different.
