Anybody Have Anymore Pix Of This Car

I have some reprints somewhere from an old book on Customs. I'll see if I can find 'em.

 

It was one of the cover cars on the first issue of Hop Up (magazine, not webzine), Aug '51. The article appears on p 25 of Morty's reprint. Unfortunately there are only three pictures, and they are all very similar to the ones in the article you posted. Great car, in my opinion.

 

Damn! I thought the steering column and wheel was to high in MY 54. Talk about looking through the wheel to drive!

 

Motor Trend Dec 1950, there is a reprint of it in Barris Kustom Techniques vol 2.

 

That scan is from the Motor Trend, I have the Barris book, I will have to dig out my Hopup reprint. I seen the car was in alot of the old Barris ads. Would have thought it would have featured more somewhere. I really like it, thanks.
