Anybody have any idea what make and year of car this is?

    I would be guessing Chevrolet as well. maybe the cat knows something.

  5. 6-lug pattern disc wheels implies like 27, 28, 29 Chevy as well. Not much else to go on, don't usually try to ID them from the bottom of the chassis.

    ^^^1929 was the first year for a six cylinder. this one is a four.

    1928 chev is my guess.
     
  8. '26 to '28 Chevrolet- you can see the distributor in the side of the block in the pic of the engine ('25 and earlier had the dist on the generator).

    If you find the sheet metal, and the wood is rotted away, and it looks like a sign, Its a pre 1936 Chevrolet...

    I think I see mechanical linkage for the front brakes, makes it a 1928 I believe

    I see an oil pump but no dippers on the rods which suggests full pressure lubrication, which Chev did not get until the fifties. There were several 4 cyl cars in the late 20s and up to 1932 that looked like that.
     
  15. They may not have been full pressure, but all Chevys have oil pumps
