As above. I love traditional Ford Hot-rods. But they are few and far between here. I have been looking for a couple of years now for ANYTHING that might start a project, to no avail. Anything I've seen was either restored or huge money. Hopefully there are a few lads here that might give me some direction, hints, tips or locations. Thanks, Alan.
Can't say they're cheap, but they do seem to be available. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/list/21/model a / I had a great time in Ireland last fall, although I do confess that driving was interesting.
Hi murf from Dublin here. I just put my 27 roadster body on a A chassis with a B 4 banger if that's like what you like. Also got a 32 sedan n a chopped wyvern. Where abouts are ya ?
Wow. Thats 3 more than I knew about this morning I live in longford. Currently have a pair of Escorts a 92 RS and a 72 Estate. Do you show the cars at all? I'd go see em if you do.
I bet. That search is for the Uk though. A 1000 quid to tow a trailer over the ferry etc and back....... Here's the Irish version. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/clas...rice=&keyword=model+a+&S.x=39&S.y=14&S=Search
We travel to Ireland as often as possible. Love Ireland. Friends in Dublin. This summer I saw an F-100 parked in Kenmare. The only time I've seen a rod or classic over there. Narrow roads. No, really narrow roads. Lots of insurance would be my recommendation. Can't imagine driving a hot rod there.
There's only two kinds of people , The Irish and those that wish they were. Sent from my SM-G900V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Born there and moved to LA in 75 at 7 years of age. Will be going back with my son for spring break...X2 on the roads! The mad cow was nuts!
Visited there over the summer and saw a 67 mustang outside Limerick in a small garage. Beautiful Country, every turn on every road feels like a game of chicken! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
There are 2 kustom hot rod clubs here. Kilbeggan has a big american car show every year in April. It's a small scene , keep a eye on ' done deal ' stuff does popup
No.. but I think a restorer would cringe at what I am going to do to my model B especially it's a original irish car.
