Hot Rods Anybody ever driven Hwy 1 in California?

vintagehotrods......now that's the way to see the coast!

 

It was the best trip in a Hot Rod in my life.........everyone should experience that highway!

 

Do it. I used to live in SF. I miss the ocean like crazy. That road is heaven.

 

I live in Monterey and the drive south to Big Sur and beyond is amazing...try coming during Car Week (3rd week of August) and you'll experience sensory overload!

 

1975, the girlfriend, now wife for 26 years, did the Wa. State all the way down through California Hwy 1 and back. Never again in this lifetime, too old for that now. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

 

I've driven down from Half Moon Bay to Santa Barbara and would recommend it, took about 8 hours. I want to go north from San Fran next time. Hopefully when the A is done.
