any vintage junkyards on LI?

    I don't know if there are any cool old junkyards in my neighborhood.............if there show pics

    albin has a side yard with some older stuff...moriches has some older stuff but on the whole we all got the good stuff years ago

    Hard to find old yards w/ much left back east anymore - the humidity, road conditions (salt) etc.. has taken it's toll on much of that old steel.
     

  5. Plenty of old yards in New York, but you're not going to find them on Long Island.

    take the ferry over to New London & go to Jr. carpenters in exeter RI.Its about 45 mins up 95 from New London
