  2. I just got this 48 burban a couple of weeks ago. I traded my 29 pontiac for it. Lots more room for the old bones and junk to haul to the shows. I'm going to lower it 3" all around and put some comfortable seats in her. What do you have?

  3. Congratulations on your trade. Was this Surguy's truck, if so I looked at it about a month ago and it seemed to be a good find for what your intentions are. Good luck with it!:). I had a 59 4wd Napco a few years ago and wish I had not sold it, anyway I know of a 55 Suburban I have been after for a few years now and maybe the time is near!

I've got a 63 chevy carryall 350 -350th .. had it for over 25 years now .. drove it EVERYWHERE .. finally stopped it a few years back to re-do it .. then economy went bad .. so it sits and waits for things to get better ... it still runs and is drivable ,, but i want it done first ....

  10. very nice 48' and it has the "clamshell rear doors!". my uncle has a 49' that is his daily driver since 66'! did the great race a few years back from penn. to cal. talked about doing it for 15 years in the 49' and found out it was way more work than pleasure not to mention a huge expense! $$$ those burbs took me on many great fishing trips as a kid so they continue to be a favorite of mine!

I've posted this picture of mine many times, but when someone asks what am I supposed to do?

Just today I bought one more piece for it at the swap meet in Puyallup. I found the GMC splash pan for it. A couple of weeks ago I got a great deal on three of the four inside window garnishes I needed for it. Its advancing slowly.
