Are there any basic metal working videos posted for free online? I remember seeing a good one on how to use a shrinking disc and another where a guy removed a dent above a door, between the A & B pillars.

Also, side note, I've got a very nice set of hammers but need a dolly. I can only afford one right now and since I have a lot of stretched out dents I was thinking the MT-1058S. Anyone own this dolly & want to comment?

I'm not sure about any free videos. You might check and see if Ron Covell, Faye Butler, or Steve Davis have anything on-line.
If I could only pick up one dolly right now, it would be the MT-1060. It will be more useful in the long run. You can use the sharp corners to tighten and shrink just like the serrated model.

    Hey,

I'd try the Tech search under metal work, body work & John Kelly's
    metalworking site-

On the subject of your dolly choice- a serrated toe dolly is an o.k.
choice, but you'd be better served with a general purpose dolly.
The general purpose dolly has more surfaces to work metal than a
toe dolly. The serrated surface of a dolly isn't all that usefull, better
to hammer "off dolly" as much as possible and avoid more stretch-
    ing of the metal.
As body tools go, Martin isn't a bad way to go!

Not really the 'basics' I was looking for, but Jebus, Fay Butler is a badass!

If you're serious about metal work. Try metalmeet.com. Lots of links to vids there.

I'll second the 1060 choice... a much more useful dolly. Thanks for the plug Pimpin Paint! I recently had Arden update my short metalshaping and dent repair videos. They can be viewed at the bottom of this page (hope to add more later):
