Last year there was all kinds of rumors about what was going to change for 2013. I sent Carl a PM asking him what might change, but received no response. I was wondering if anybody had heard anything. r
id give him a few days, they just had their big memorial day weekend show, im sure he was way busy, and now tired.
I talked to Carl a few weeks ago about the requirement for roll bars for roadsters. He told me that it basically needs to protect the drivers head should the car turn over. Not a full cage. Perhaps he will see this post and explain more details. John
Nothing new guys. Same thing we have said for years; Roadsters need a roll bar and clutch cars need a REAL scatter sheild. http://www.mokandragway.com/rules/safety.html
While we're on the subject, I'm confused about the neutral switch. On a 4 speed car, do I need a switch on the clutch pedal or ? Thanks!
Question on the scatter shield. They are mandatory for 'solid-lifter'/manual cars. Recommended for 'hydraulic lifter'/manual cars. Am I correct? Dad wanted to make some passes in his '58 Nomad, 383 crate motor/hyd-lifters/3-on-the-tree.....no scatter shield. That be permissible?
