more interested in to later ford myself, but I have been sniffing around early ford ones recently, sure there would be some interest in them.

Honest Charley used to sell those for around 20 bucks and they did adapt the early Ford/ Merc trans to Olds/Cad motors with the proper pilot bushing , flywheel and clutch ,BUT having laid waste to more than my share of clusters and low/ reverse sliders plus several perfectly good '39 floorshift cases , I would look for something a bit stronger .I finally ran across a Cad/LaSalle box that had been shortened and adapted to the Ford torque tube driveline and used a factory Olds stick bellhousing , end of tranny problems but all I managed to do was move the problem to the rear end!
