Adam Barton lies. Check him out. Got a beautiful tattoo when he came thru the Twin Cities a couple years back. Ya won't find better. Good people, too.
I agree Adam. And on that note, you oughtta come to the Detroit Autorama this spring, and do a guest spot at the shop that Kritz and I co-own while you're in town! We haven't had any MAJOR rockstars like you, but some of the guest artists we've had are Ron Meyers, Jeff Zuck, and Brady Duncan (of course they're all friends of ours, but still... ). Also, if any of you DEADBEATS want to harass them, Jeff and Jime were both talking about guest spots, but we haven't heard from them in a while... Steve
Im sure adams stuff is the bomb, but also check out so cal tattoo,if theyre still there,I met Tom and Ethan a few years ago,and they are both awesome people, very different styles, but find a person that excels in what you want done and you cant go wrong...
Holy shit.... NICE pics on your site, you modest bastard. ANy plans of moving... oh say about 250 miles south? I could REALLY use a good tattoo artist within an hour from me, dammit!
I really like Baby Ray @ Spotlight Tattoo. http://www.spotlighttattoo.com/ He's not too much into the Internet, but he's a good guy, fantastic black-n-gray and is REALLY into traditional customs. I saw some of Dan Collins' stuff at Primer Nats. I haven't been tattooed by him, but he seems like a good guy & does some mighty fine traditional work.
I'll second you on the Baby Ray nomination. He studied under the man himself, Jack Rudy. I've also never had work by, but seen Dan Collins' stuff, and was completely impressed. McPhail, Genius.
