It has an early jag rear end and had a custom independent front suspension similar to what's on the milk truck, it has a bab's wappit works custom dash with mid sixties gauges. It has diamond tuck upholstery on the seat and door panels
I talk to Curt Hamilton and he said the chassis looks very similar to ones he built in the late sixties on show rods
So where is the rest of the car ? I don't know, I purchased it from a guy that buys storage lots at auction , I did get half of the chrome jag rear end
If that is the original speedo to the car, either it didn't get finished or was strickly for show. I bet it was pretty cool when it was all together. Probably had chrome Truspokes. Can you tell by the motor mounts what engine it had?
Seems someone parted out a perfectly good Hot Rod... or someone started a redo that didn't eventuate. Maybe contact Dave Shuten? He is likely the dude to contact as this is his era of expertise. Did you get the Left door? Random that it is not on the car.
Any signs of it living multiple lives as a hotrod, signs of multiple motor mounts lots of layers of paint?
IDK, but do know that I *like* it. Even the dash - interesting to me, since I have not seen a "Wabbits" dash that I have ever liked - 'till this one. . I hope this one comes back as close as possible to the original (resto-rod?) format it was. Marcus...
Cool piece of 70s nostalgia I like it! Or far more likely the car was considered out of date at the time was taken apart the parts sold off to offset the cost of a rebuild/update and this was as far as the project got.
I thought for a moment that I found your car as their could only be one hot rodded 1919 Ford. WRONG. This one is from Australia.
