A mate of mine Marc, who passed away quite recently, built this in the late 1980's/early 90's outside his home in South London. (He had no workshop and did all the work in the open) . The car permanently lived outside and was vandalised on occasions. I remember once every panel was 'keyed' just days after it had been freshly painted. Probably because it had so much paint on it, and its outdoors life in the British climate, the paint finish went bad and Marc gave it a temporary coat of matt black with the intension of re-doing the red and scallops. At this point he went to live in the USA and the Impala got sold to Australia still in its black paint job,and apparently it was going to be restored to mirror Marc's original build. I was just wondering if any Australian HAMBers know of it, and what progress, if any, is being made. I'd really like to see it again.
Can't say it looks familiar however there are a few imports around now. Like the US, a big country here with a few different states. Any idea what state and year? Looked like a nice car in its heyday!
@jex had it in 2014, but he hasn't been on here since. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/60s-mild-custom-pics.192309/page-3#post-9675721
