10hp engine with about 8-1 compression, twin su's and aquaplane manifolds

Will get some flow work and a cam soon.

Got a period tube shock conversion on the front and a ballamy IFS split axle to go on the front in a week or so.

Long term plans involve a recently aquired 21 stud pilot motor and a triumph herald rear end.

Will stay looking stock iside and out, still got a good origional interior and the paint is factory, well, whats left of it:D

My mate called by saturday afternoon ,we had a brew and and he gave me hand on my deuce chassis, ..when he was going I shot a few pix of his car. He`s had it forever, and will never sell it..he has used it and abused it,rebuilt and mended it..he never goes to shows etc, and he`ll admit he does`nt know the difference between a `32 or a `34..he just loves it for what it is....no edge to the guy at all.The car has filled roof,3"chop,rounded door corners, one piece hood top, chassis kicked up back and front,2.8 V6 motor, also a rare one hole grill ,it`s extremly quick and very noisey. As he pulled away he lit `em up and set off a couple of car alarms(as usual lol)

Thats a very cool Thames but King Kong was/is not a Thames its an Anglia. Maybe just the front clip came out of the same mold or the same place made it ? I think the Pierce trucking Thames was glass and it almost looks stretched in some pictures but I've never seen it in person.

The blue and white and the red with flames is the same car owned by Phil Sonner it was redone at a shop I worked for. Gordon Crowe's blue with flames prostreeter was done at the same place years earlier, both run blown small blocks... Gordon's was on the Summit cataloge a few years ago and the Talmadge store was originally going to use it for the light up sign above the door, when it got pulled for the 56 Chevy that Summit sponsored they gave us the huge transparency of it...

The Kohlers had more than one King Kong. The Thames was Ford powered I believe.

I stand corrected, I've never even heard of the Thames version. Was it just an out right replacement or did they still run the original when this one came out? What sort of Ford was in it?

I don't really know. I do know that they sold the original Anglia to the Pacini Brothers and they campaigned the car as the "Showdown".
I think the Thames had a single overhead cam 427 in it, like Skip Hess ran in the "Revell Kit Car" Mustang.
